I like the idea of blasts of colour on a monochrome image. Here I have taken a reject monoprint and am experimenting with adding colour in the form of scraps of cellophane.
I am an artist living in the Highlands of Scotland. With a background in geography and geology, the physical landscape is my main inspiration. However I also like experimenting with a quirky variety of subjects. I work in oil, acrylic and mixed media to create images with pattern, texture and colour. These can be abstract or representational.
I exhibit in galleries in and around Inverness and occasionally south of the highland boundary fault.
